Setting up an IO-Link test bench for MSPC training
LYCÉE DE SAINT-EXUPÉRY
The Lycée Saint-Exupéry in Blagnac is a high school with around 2,000 students. It has a vocational baccalaureate section with 5 different baccalaureates in industrial maintenance, aeronautical maintenance and machining. Students are destined to work in hydraulic or pneumatic maintenance.
THE ID SYSTEM BENCH
Teacher Alexandre CATALA liked the ID SYSTEM bench for a number of reasons, not least the series of smart, connected sensors.
Matteo, a MIOP student, explains that this innovative bench is a real opportunity for him, as they will be working more and more on this type of equipment in the future. In fact, hydraulic maintenance jobs are changing, and this gives students the opportunity to practice these new technologies.
IO-Link makes it quick and easy to turn conventional equipment into connected equipment. This enables supervision to be carried out via a web platform: Moneo ifm. All data is digitized, including pressure, flow, temperature, vibration, oil level and temperature.
Moneo’s professional software is particularly didactic, especially when it comes to creating the various dashboards.
